The adventures of a northern Utah family, and their rockin' off-road Hummer. Oh yeah, and some commentary on current events as well.

Moab Dunes
Since the Red Rockers had exclusive trail rights this morning, we had to wait until noon before we could get on Behind the Rocks. What to do to pass the time until noon? Go play on the sand dunes, of course!
Howdy. Welcome to my blog! I am a 30-something native Utahn. I have lived outside of Utah, but just love living here too much to leave again.
My wife (Melinda) and I were married in November 1994, and have four terrific kids: Elise, Indy, Olivia, and Aiden.
I am a banker by profession. Not exactly the career path I had in mind, but it pays the bills quite nicely. My dream job would be a fighter pilot. Unfortunately, it is a dream I gave up all too easily, years ago, thinking it would be better for my family if we didn't have to move around so often. That is a decision I will always regret, because we have ended up moving around anyway. Oh well, now I'm too old, and my eyesight is too far gone for that dream to ever be realized. So, I forge on, doing the best I can.
I am an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a die-hard, conservative Republican(with some libertarian leanings on certain issues).
